Tentative 2026 Float Plan - (subject to change)

The 2026 North Channel Cruise/Flotilla dates are set: July 25 - August 8, 2026.     It will begin and end in Little Current, Ontario, Canada.  Please NOTE that there will be a registration fee of $20 USD to cover the pizza dinner and flotilla materials.  

2026 will also be our 40th anniversary celebration, which will be in Little Current on July 30 and 31.  There is a separate registration & payment for that event.  Please remember to register for both events (and order your 40th anniversary t-shirt!), if you plan to attend.

Please review the following before signing up.

Please understand that this is primarily a flotilla group of TRAILERABLE SAILBOATS.  Past members who now have larger boats and trawlers occasionally join us, but we are not inviting new members to join unless they are in trailerable sailboats.  There are other groups for large sailboats and trawlers.

There is a USD $20 registration fee**  per boat.  An additional $10 will be collected if you need a burgee. ($30 USD) New burgees were created in 2024 and we would like everyone in the flotilla to have one of these on their boat.

The fee must be paid at the time you register.  

The payment link will pop up after the form has been submitted. We use Paypal as a payment processor but we ask that you pay by credit card as the fees are less.  You do not need a paypal account.   Please have your credit card ready before submitting the registration form.  

If you do not (or cannot) complete the payment process, please contact us at northchanneltrailersailors@gmail.com for assistance.  You are not actually registered until we receive payment.

We generally limit the number of boats to 25, at the discretion of the leaders. If you do not plan to follow the group and participate in radio-nets, anchorages and activities, please do not sign up.  

** What's included:

1) Pizza dinner on Saturday, July 25 (for up to 2) (extra crew will be USD $10/pp on site)

2) Laminated 2025 North Channel Cruise information placemat.

3) "TSA" burgee (if you didn't get one in 2024) (Registration fee is $30 USD for those that need burgees)

4) Trailer Sailor logo'd dry bag will be available for purchase on site for $8 USD.

PLEASE NOTE:  You are responsible for reserving for your own slips.  You are responsible for paying launch fee, parking, slip fees and any other expenses you may incur.

Refunds, Plan Changes and Random Notes:

• If your plans must change, please email the cruise leaders as soon as possible and let them know so someone else can have your spot.  No refunds after June 27.

• If you intend to be in the North Channel anyway but have no real intention of staying with the group or participating in group activities, don't sign up.  (but you are welcome to visit us and socialize)

• If you have special circumstances (such as arriving or departing early or late), please note that on the sign-ups.  

• Past trailer sailor group members who currently sail larger craft and would still like to be part of the group are welcome to sign up but check the applicable note on the sign up form.  In the case of too many boats, the larger boats will be expected to anchor further out in smaller anchorages.

• If you are new to these cruises, please read ALL of the articles on our Resources page.  If you are used to staying in a marina every night, this cruise is different. You may need to brush up your anchoring skills, and you may want to purchase some additional equipment.
